A solo presentation of British artist and poet Heather Phillipson, whose work combines moving image, sound, text and voice. Phillipson uses HD video in single screen and live formats, the latter in conjunction with live voice-off. Combining HD video, casual re-appropriation and dis/emboded speech, the works operate through contrast, establishing a play between crudity and finesse, dullness and intensity, intimacy and distance, between precision and accident. Overarching trajectories are driven by a search for sense and its opposite, frequently governed by associated sounds, puns and repetitions which become points in a hyperactive dot-to-dot.
