'Out of the Blue' is Tarek Lakhrissi's most significant film work to date, commissioned and first exhibited at La Galerie CAC, Noisy-Le-Sec, FR. It is a Science Fiction short film that takes place at a radical moment in time when our politically conservative era is suddenly at a threat and coming to an end because of an alien invasion.

Tarek Lakhrissi (b. 1992, Châtellerault, FR) is based between Paris, FR and Brussels, BE. He holds a degree in literature from Paris III Sorbonne-Nouvelle, FR and an MA in History of Art from the University of Montreal, CA. He has been nominated for the Matsutani Occident 2019 Prize and the PSC Art Prize. Lakhrissi has had international solo presentations at museums and galleries including: Fondazione Sandretto Re Rebaudengo, Turin, IT; Zabriskie, Genève, CH; Centre d’Art Contemporain, Noisy-Le-Sec, FR.

Upcoming exhibitions include a solo presentation for Liste Showtime with VITRINE, Liste, Online; 'The shape of Futuros', One Gee Fog, Geneva, CH; 'Bonaventure', Fondation Ricard, Paris, FR; Ordained, Horny & Horned, VEDA, Firenze, IT; KevinSpace, Vienna, AT; Shedhalle, Zurich, CH; Haus der Kunst, Munich, DE; 'Breaking Translations', HANGAR, Online.
